Peter Everitt

CEO

Peter has enjoyed a varied 33-year engineering career, beginning as a technical apprentice at Clarkson International Tools Ltd, progressing through programming CNC machines, and then managing the growth of the CNC Cell of a precision gauge manufacturer. After completing additional formal qualifications in 1990’s he then developed the midlands sales area for WNT UK as a new UK venture, followed by moving into sales and marketing of capital equipment in the machine tool market. Peter set up his first business in 2002, and made his first 2 acquisitions in 2006, and spent 14 years as Managing Director in his own group, acquiring a number of businesses during this time

Peter has been extensively involved on both the buy and sell side of business acquisitions throughout the last 19 years, first while building his own engineering group, and then as an interim turnaround specialist for a PE Investor. He has wide experience of restructuring and consolidation, building value for shareholders ready for exit, and has wide industry scope having been extensively involved at OEM and Tier 1 level in aerospace, defence, automotive, oil and gas, and power generation industries.

Peter has a wealth of experience in R&D and grant funding, having both been a member of a consortium, and also led a consortium at both UK and EU level, in manufacturing automation, and Industry 4.0. Peter is the designer of an automated nano level accuracy measuring system with a Large Focus on Future Cities programs and technologies, cross sector fertilization of technologies and re-use of forgotten technologies. Peter has designed new automation systems for the manufacture of prosthetic knee and hip joints.

For more than 5 years, Peter was an expert for the European Commission Reviewing H2020 R&D projects, advising EU commission and reporting progress of projects over 3-year cycle. Specialist in automation systems, manufacturing systems, cloud-based manufacturing technologies and future IoT systems focused on IND4.0 and FoF, Future cities and ERASMUS.

Outside of business Peter is fully aware of and active in his social values. He is an active member of Weddington Primary School PTA raising money for school projects, is a keen triathlete, runner and cyclist, competing for Nuneaton Harriers cross country team and competing in the Cross Country National Championships 2020. Peter is a qualified Triathlon coach, volunteering to coach Junior Triathlon for Nuneaton Triathlon Club, and is also the secretary of Weddington Sports Junior football club.
